Today’s comic goes into the importance of vocabulary. Specifically, knowing the right word and when to use it.
Most importantly, not confusing it with a Middle Eastern cuisine.
I’m not sure the thought process on this one. Maybe I hadn’t been to an art museum in a long time and unconsciously needed to place it in a web comic. Or maybe I was hungry. Either way, now you’ve read it so it’s stuck in your head now. I only ask that you do not become confused, look at a plate of hummus and say out lout “this signifies man’s inhumanity toward man”, which in retrospect may have made a funnier comic.
Can’t personally say that I’ve eaten a lot of Middle Eastern cuisine, although I am interested in trying it. There is a restaurant called Beirut Cafe (I think) kinda sorta near me which I’ve been wanting to try. Plus it gives me the chance to say “baba ghanoush” outside of a comedic setting. Damn, I miss MXC.
