Today we go over our favorite potent potable made from malted barley, brewer’s yeast, hops, and water. Specifically, the one started out of Dublin.
For those of you who have never had Guinness, it’s a bitter beer, which may or may not have something resembling chocolate in it. There are different versions of it, however the one we display in today’s comic is not one that exists at this time, although I am sure Guinness is hard at work on it with help from the Large Hadron Collider folks.
Hey have they found Higgs Boson yet? I swear this guy is really tough to find. On a side note, Higgs Boson sounds like the name of a final boss in a fighting game.
Getting back on topic (such as it is), I do imbibe of the booze on occasion, but as my friends will tell you I am not particularly good at it. I don’t have a great tolerance for the stuff, but at least I am a cheap date (so to speak). I can only handle Guinness when it is part of an Irish Car Bomb.
True story: I did an Irish Car Bomb about a month ago but failed to gently drop the shot glass into the glass of Guinness causing the shot glass to break. Unsurprisingly, Guinness is fairly undrinkable with shards of glass in it.
