Font addiction may be a serious thing. Personally, I am not addicted to any one font in any way where A&E would have to send a camera crew to stage an intervention.

I am guilty of font snobbery, though.

I am not a graphic designer or a typographer, and yet on occasion I have been known to detail the virtues of one font over another.  How Franklin Gothic is better than Impact, how Helvetica is superior to Arial, and why Comic Sans is an travesty in all levels of kerning, leading, x-height, ascender line, apex, baseline, ascender, crossbar, stem, san serif-ness, leg, bowl, counter, collar, loop, ear, tie, horizontal bar, arm, vertical bar, cap height, and descender line.

Really, you should be ashamed for using it. Also, please stop using Papyrus. Besides, Papyrus can by law only  be used in the upcoming Avatar sequels and James Cameron is not the man you want to be messing with.

Not sure where I was going with that thought.

Anyway, hope you enjoy the comic, and we’ll see you Thursday.
